Here we have a First / GreenLine. Route 702 service is a limited-stop express service. The route uses Ex London Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini mk1 , Dennis Trident/Plaxton President, Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini (with new back). Abit of history on the buses used and route; Volvo B10M/Jonckheere the coaches what were transferred from Slough for the services. Armchairs London commuter routes C1 and C2 became Green Line route 701,
with the existing Slough to LondonGreen Line route 701 passing to Armchair.

More intermixing from Go Ahead London with there new Volvo B9TL on Wright bodies. These buses are for route 171 and should not be intermixed, there is a load of PVL Class buses within the fleet for intermixing this is how new stuff get destroyed. I wish Go Ahead would treat there new stuff like the hybrids, i mean how rare is a hybrid intermixed NEVER!!. When these buses go to Q Camberwell they will be intermixed has well because Q do all the night routes in Go Ahead so these buses have e,g 1,12,42,185,68,468,45,X68,on the blinds for all double deck routes in go ahead, so don't be shocked when one strays around the fleet.

Go Aheads New Volvo B9TLs

Here we have Go Ahead London's new Volvo B9TL on Wright Bodies for route 171. These new buses were to replace the old PVL Class on that route. This route will move to Q (Camberwell ) along with the new buses to make room in NX (NewCross). Reason being the 436 will get 32 new Hybrid Volvo B5LH & Enviro 400, along with the 453 moving to NX (NewCross ) they will 35 new Volvo B5LH & Enviro 400s so New Cross will need all the space they can get.

Has London General is the head office of Go Ahead i don't believe they will order Volvo B9TLs on Wright bodies, my reason being with their fleet they went with B7TLs on wright bodies but on voith not ZF like London Central. Second reason there Enviro 400s buses on Optare Olympus and Enviro 200s on Optare Esteem London Central never toke an order of the Optare buses only on full Transbus Enviros. Third reason the Volvo B7Ls only London General made an order, along with the Volvo B9TL Enviro 400 buses. and now they have been sent a demo of the Mcv DD Volvo B9TL but will go to DockLands Buses because they have MCV buses within the fleet and now how to look after them right.

But London Central did get somethings London general didn't Hybrid VDLs on Wright bodies and Ex East Thames Scania Omni Town's.

StageCoach Colours Over The Years

Here we have former Transdev Enviro 200 on route C1 with new London United Ratps sign. Londons most dead single deck orders are Enviro's 200s purly because there under powered cummins ISBe Euro 4,5 Dart 6.4 liter engine the body is cheaply made. The last company to fall for the enviro 200 were metrobus the only good thing about them are the seat colours.

Go Aheads Darts leaving

Go Aheads Y reg , 06 reg darts from routes C10,484,P5 are all on lease and are all held up in New Cross depot ready to be collected, turns out that ADL sent someone to inspect the darts damage. Whats happening now is NX have to repair all the darts on lease eg body panels, seats, windows. All this has to be done just so they can take them off there hands.

Is it just me or is Go Aheads Wrights looking older than they look, WVL117 looks like a patch job with the body work. WVL85 paint looks like its been cooked in the sun, a 2002/3 bus should not look like this.

StageCoach recently ordered The first batches of 124 buses arrived at Rainham and Plumstead they will be used to replace buses on routes 174 , 99, 53 . The 53 has a batch of Enviros coming later this year but knowing Alexander Dennis they will be early. And yes knowing stagecoach they will intermix everything has long has TFL cant complain about it, if i know PD right the 99 and 53s buses will be mixed on routes 472 51 96 122 177.

Note this PVL is from London General from route 155. I asked the driver why its at BX he said its covering for refurbishment for route 401. BX will be getting new buses for the 89 with 15 new double deckers most likey Volvo B9TLs on Wright bodies.
